*West Virginia Residency is determined by State issued identification for all individuals 16 years of age or older.  I.D. must be presented at the time of purchase.

Every person visiting the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System is required to purchase an individual User Permit including passengers.  This Permit allows you the permission to ride, in accordance with our rules, on over 500 miles of private land that makes up our six trails: Bearwallow, Buffalo Mountain, Indian Ridge, Little Coal, Pinnacle Creek, and Rockhouse.  User Permits must be displayed at all times while on the trails.

Trail Permit is a sticker that must be posted on the bottom right on the left side of your helmet. It must be visible AT ALL TIMES. Make sure your goggle strap does not cover it up so they'll be no questions asked.
